In his role as Senior Vice President, Michael Batu aligns with the vision of the people he serves to help pull them towards the accomplishment of their goals. Michael firmly believes continuing education is the key that makes him a valuable resource to both clients and professionals.

During his 30 year career, Michael gained invaluable experience at UBS and Wells Fargo Advisors before transitioning to Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network to serve his clients even better. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Investment Management Analyst, he provides a comprehensive financial outlook for everyone he works with.

Michael was a past board member of his alma mater, the University of Akron. He also supported the community as a past board member of Child Guidance and Family Solutions and the Akron Tax and Estate Planning Council. He is currently on the board for Leadership Akron, the Akron Civic Theater, and Habitat for Humanity of Summit County – his favorite charity.

Among his many talents, you might be surprised to learn that Michael is a woodworker and makes furniture! He enjoys snow skiing, biking, hiking, volunteering, mentoring young people, and traveling in his free time. For him, a perfect day would start with skiing and end with a walk on the beach.
